CISC Director Susan Sturm and College and Community Fellowship Executive Director Vivian Nixon co-authored "Home-Grown Social Capital." This newly released study expands how higher education for formerly incarcerated women facilitates family and community transformation. Published by Ascend at the Aspen Institute, the report uses the two-generation lens to reflect the way women and men in communities affected by incarceration actually experience family relationships.
