Nasro is a Somali-American 3L from Minnestoa. She studied English Literature and Philosophy at Winona State University. Prior to law school, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco for 27 months. At Columbia, she has been a member of the Muslim Law Students Association, the Black Law Students Association, the Jailhouse Lawyer's Manual, and the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. Outside of law school, she enjoys eating her way through the city and reading non-law related books.
