Chakshu is a 3L from the Bay Area. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020, with a double major in Economics and Legal Studies. At Columbia, she is a Public Interest/Public Service Fellow and is involved with the Jailhouse Lawyer’s Manual. She has also been a member of the South Asian Law Students Association and the LaLSA Asylum & Refugee Law Moot Court. In her free time, Chakshu likes to explore New York and listen to audiobooks while taking long walks. As of Spring 2023, Chakshu no longer holds the position of Student Director.
